hey hey fam!!! Oct. 22
Thanks for all the emails i loved reading them and hearing what’s up in all of your lives! Sounds like everyone's changing, and that everything’s different, hope you guys still like me when i get back. hahah!
Well here in Argentina its starting to get hot...like really hot...and all the bugs are coming out to. I told mom, but i wake up with probably about 10 new bug bites each night....minus two nights ago, all i was doing was playing bed frogger...at least that’s what i call it..it rained during the night, and our roof has a bunch of wholes in it, i woke up and my sleeping bag was completely drenched...and then i moved my bed, fell back asleep and woke up with drenched feet drenched head, and couple of new bug bites! haaha kind of a miserable night. Its the worst to cuz im so tired from working so hard, and then i get to be up all night...but yeah, i guess thats what happens when you live in Argentina.
haha this week was pretty good! we had interviews with president and my comp went first, after he went i went, and my president said that hes never seen my comp so happy, he said that he was all smiles and said that hes never had an interview like that with him before. he said that this really could be a changing point for him on his mission as well as his life, he said that he doesn´t know what im doing but to keep doing it! haha i thought that was pretty cool. im not really doing anything in particular, were just working hard! Martes we went to the big city to the mission office. As we were riding on the train, we stopped at a station, and everyone started running for the back of the train, i saw conductors running people that worked in the train station running, and i hurry and asked someone what’s going on and all they said was "someone jumped" believe it or not it happens quite a bit on the trains here in argentina. someone’s just had enough with life...and so they jump under the train. As i looked at the hoards of people gathered around i felt that i needed to go over there and help him. I told myself that there are tons of people over there and that i cant do anything, I kept telling myself that i should go over and help, but i didn´t and the third time, i told myself that ill at least walk over through the crowds of people and see if i can do anything. as i did, the paramedics were able to get him out from under the train and onto a rack thing...i cant think of the name of it in English. i looked at the man as they rushed him past me. he was as pale as the moon. i don’t know if he was dead or alive, but i learned a lesson. when you get a impression to act, do. i kept having the impression that i should go give a priesthood blessing, but i convinced myself that the man had help and there were more then enough people there (like 80) to help and trained paramedics there tambien. But as they willed his body past me, i felt that i could have done something to help the man out. They rushed him off to the hospital, and i was just left thinking to myself, i promised myself from there on, if i have an impression, to act, and to not be afraid to do so. this helped me out later in the week as we were visiting people. i felt that we received spiritual impressions to go visit people at the exact moment they needed us to be there. I learned the valuable lesson. to not fear, to not think, but just to listen and do.
Yesterday was dia de la madre en Argentina. My comp got to call his mom, and he talked to her for quite a while, i was pretty happy for him. well yep that’s pretty much my week, nothing to exciting going on. haha something funny that happened to me is we went to this house where a guy gave me and my comp something to drink, as i finished drinking the juice, i was deeply disgusted and kinda felt like puking....at the bottom of my cup were all of his fingernails and toenails that he had cut that morning...yep into my cup. my comp was laughing like crazy when i showed him. i wanted to puke. mom be sure that you clean the cups before you give the missionaries something to drink ;)
haha well yep that’s everything!!! I love the experiences that im having. The mish is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my entire life. Sometimes i feel like ill never be able to make ot for two years, and then sometimes i feel like im in heaven on earth...in Argentina...haha im not sure if there’s such a thing! haha thanks for all the prayers. know that im praying for you and that i love you! brock stop picking your nose, Coleson keep rocking school, William tell ben i say hi ;) haha jk, take it easy will when you get mad, next time you feel like yelling at someone say a prayer that god can help you to love instead of screaming. i promise if you’ll do it you wont feel like screaming at people as much :) Jaden, stop changing. you can learn how to read and spell in two years when i get back...haha maybe then you can teach me how to spell. mom, dad, star, chance, sky, love you guys. Stay classy.
I’m out! Peace love, and temple marriage...on December 8th at 11:00 ;)
