Happy P-Day Nov. 5th

hey fam!!!!

woot whoo! Its been another week, full of crazy, fun, hard, and rewarding times!
Well first things first, how was Halloween???? I completely forgot that it was Halloween! How was trick or treatin??? William i loved your army man costume...I'm surprised that shirt still fits you, and Jaden i loved your costume too (thanks for sending pics sky). What were you Jaden? My guess was either a marshmallow with a six pack, or star trooper! Either way i loved the costumes! So wanna here my spooky Halloween story for the week!! I’ll take that as a yes since your not here to reply!
So this last Friday night me and elder lopez were firing up some melinesa right before bed, which is the best chicken in Argentina, and i saw a huge Ginormous cockroach climbing  up around on his shoulder. i started freaking out, it was so huge, like literally half the size of his shoulder, i thought it was a bat at first! We screamed like sissys, and burned the sucker up with a lighter and ax body spray...anyway after that experience i kept feeling like i had things crawling all over me...anyways i said my prayers and went to bed, i took all the covers off me and put them down at the bottom of the bed cuz its so fetching hot in this country, well i fell asleep, and then woke up because i felt that same motion of something crawling on me, i thought it was just in my head, but i looked on my arm, and saw, yes another cockroach the same size as the first one crawling on me! haha i screamed hit it off me, had no idea where it landed, and threw the covers over me, as i looked under the covers i saw another one just as big in my bed, hahah i got up freaking out and hit it out of my bed...not knowing where it landed...well long story short, it happened one more time, and in the morning i found them all, burnt them, and sent them back to hell where they belong, haha!!! mom, do you wanna send me a mosquito net, hopefully it will work on cockroaches to!!!
ill send a pic of all my night crawler friends and me!!!
haha in other and more important news, we had a baptism!!!! woot whoooo!!! Belen finally entered the waters of baptism this last Thursday! it was such a cool and amazing experience. Shes gonna be a life long member for sure, shes got such a strong testimony. Shes the only member in her family and is a complete angel. I'm super excited for her. i thought to myself during her baptism that its worth all the hard days to have this small moment. to save a soul. i was reminded of Alma's experience in chapter 26 where he states  :  :27 Now when our hearts were depressed, and we were about toaturn back, behold, the Lord bcomforted us, and said: Go amongst thy brethren, the Lamanites, and bear with cpatience thinedafflictions, and I will give unto you success.

There are many times that our hearts are depressed on the mission, and often there are times that i feel like turning back around and giving up, but the lord always comforts me in one way or the other, and when we bear with patience our afflictions the lord will bless us with success. I felt so happy in that baptism that i had helped someone find God in there life. When we first started teaching her, she didn´t believe in anything, nope not even god. It was amazing to see her life begin to change as she started to live the commandments, to leave the partying life behind, and to find a new life in Christ. A life with purpose, potential, and with direction. I was so grateful that god let me be an instrument in his hands to testify of the things that i know to be true so that belen could know they are true as well. It was such an amazing experience that i wont forget. Her mom came to the baptism to and cried as she said, I'm so glad that my daughter has found Christ. It was such a sweet moment!!! haha and those are the ones we live for as missionaries. words cant describe the feelings i felt in that baptism, but  Ammon expresses it much better then i can he states in alma chapter 26:
29 And we have entered into their houses and taught them, and we have taught them in their streets; yea, and we have taught them upon their hills; and we have also entered into their temples and their asynagogues and taught them; and we have been cast out, and mocked, and spit upon, and smote upon our cheeks; and we have been bstoned, and taken and bound with cstrong cords, and cast into prison; and through the power and wisdom of God we have been delivered again.
30 And we have suffered all manner of afflictions, and all this, that perhaps we might be the means of saving some soul; and we supposed that our ajoy would be full if perhaps we could be the means of saving some.
31 Now behold, we can look forth and see the afruits of our labors; and are they few? I say unto you, Nay, they are bmany; yea, and we can witness of their sincerity, because of their love towards their brethren and also towards us.Now have we not reason to rejoice? Yea, I say unto you, there never were men that had so great reason to rejoice as we, since the world began; yea, and my joy is carried away, even unto boasting in my God; for he has all apowerball wisdom, and all understanding; he comprehendeth all things, and he is a cmercifulBeing, even unto salvation, to those who will repent and believe on his name.
36 Now if this is aboasting, even so will I boast; for this is my life and my light, my joy and my salvation, and my redemption from everlasting wo. Yea, blessed is the name of my God, who has been mindful of this people, who are a bbranch of the tree of Israel, and has been clost from its body in a strange land; yea, I say, blessed be the name of my God, who has been mindful of us, dwanderers in a strange land.
37 Now my brethren, we see that God is amindful of everybpeople, whatsoever land they may be in; yea, he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth. Now this is my joy, and my great thanksgiving; yea, and I will give thanks unto my God forever. Amen.

The mission is such an incredible experience. I'm so grateful that i have this opportunity, as hard as it might be, to share the gospel, and message of its restoration with the people in Argentina. There are hard days. There are days you´re spit on and have rocks thrown at you, days that you have doors slammed in your face, but i with Ammon proclaim that its worth it to help but one soul. i will boast in my god, for he is my life, my light, my salvation, and my redemption from everlasting wo. Blessed is the name of my god, this is my joy and great thanksgiving, and i will give thanks unto him, my god forever!!!!
