Hello Family,
Wow what a week it
has been in La Linea and Gibralter! We’ve had lots of fun and have done
quite a lot of work. This past week my piso has still been having a problem
with water pressure so I´m still taking our blender and filling it with water
so i can shower! jaja Apart from that everything else is going
well. The people here are super nice to us. We have people who have
just been giving stuff to us just because. One of our people we are
teaching who is preparing for baptism -Antonio- gave us 6 boxes of canned clams
this past week.Yes... 6 boxes of Clams. We´re not quite sure what we´re
are going to do with them yet but we will figure something out jaja. Also we
have the best neighbors in the world here! The People who live in the Piso next
to ours heard us singing one day and decided that they wanted to make us
Tortilla de Patata (a Spanish breakfast dish) and so they brought us some! jaja
Something cool that
we´ve started doing here is helping build a new homeless shelter in La Linea.
Really all we´ve been doing is putting together furniture to put in the
dormitories and we´ve been meeting a lot of cool people there that love talking
to Americans!!
Well I don’t have a
lot of time but as always I wanted to share with you guys a family night
thought. This week it comes from 2 Nephi 32:3. Nephi tells us in this passage
that the words of Christ will tell us all the things that we should do.
In our lives sometimes we have problems and don´t know what to do, and that´s
when we can turn to the scriptures! The scriptures give us guidelines on
ways that we can solve our problems.
