Don’t hesitate to ask :)

Mom thanks for your weekly letters i love them....but i love you lots more...to answer your questions, i haven´t been keeping in contact with my old friends...i don’t have there email or address, id like to send them a quick email, so if you do get that info you should totally send it my way. And ill write grandpa a thank you letter. Bless his heart, what an incredible guy, i hope to grow up to be just like him...minus owing a farm and being a hard worker. Hahaha :)

So me and my comp have been working really hard this past week, but i want to just share one experience that was pretty touching and incredible for me this past week. We have this member in out ward named Pachene. Pachene became a member of the church two years ago, and has always struggled pretty bad about staying active. He’s been married and divorced. Has one little girl but never gets to see her...and he is an alcoholic and has a bad problem with drugs...but one of the nicest and dearest people i have ever met. Well, this week me and my comp were heading to an appointment, and for some reason we took a different path rather then the memorized path we usually take. Well we just so happened to catch Pachene after walking in the street, he kind of tried to hide form us, but we went over and talked to him, he was obviously drunk and had just purchased more alcohol to drink, we started talking to him, and he just began to cry, he said he was so miserable, and life just had him down, to the point where he couldn´t take it anymore. We had a really good talk with him there in the street for about an hour. We then walked him back to house and gave him a blessing on his doorstep, a blessing of comfort and health, and the ability to choose the right. The spirit was so strong for me, and as i walked away that night i was so grateful that the lord had let me and my comp be an instrument in his hands. Pachene needed someone in that very moment, and god loved us enough, and Pachene enough to lead us right to him, take his booze away, and help him, and comfort him. Later in the week we stopped by his house. He let us in, and thanked us for helping him through the other night, his arm was shaking, almost to the point where it was out of control...i think a side effect from doing so many drugs, and we shared a scripture with him about how the lord visits his children when they need him most. He through his tears asked us for another blessing, we gave him one, and the spirit was so strong...for only a small instant during the blessing i began to comprehend how much the lord truly loved him....and my mind was literally blown. I’m crying just thinking about it, but for that split second i felt that the lord had an incomprehensible love for this man, and then i too began to feel how much god loved me. Its such a simple thing, but truly remarkable. God loves us more then we can even understand. He wants us to return to live with him more then we know, and if we open our hearts and turn to him, we will begin to start to realize how much love god really does have for you and me!!

K well sorry it’s a short and kinda lame letter, but i gots to bounce!!! I love you all, and am so grateful for all of you. Remember. God loves you. He knows you, and when you begin to understand the love he has for you, you will do whatever it takes to feel of that incomprehensible and indescribable love. I cant wait for the day when i to will kneel down before my savior, and feel the encompassing powerful love he has for me!

I love you all, Love

Elder Holman
