Hey Fam,
I don´t have a ton of
time so i´ll be brief. Thanks for all of you´re letters. i love reading them . It
has been an awesome week here in La Linea and Gibraltar! With lots of work
being done. It rained a little bit at the beginning of the week which was stinky
- literally because every time it rains i think the sewers here back up and all
of the streets smell like poop! It´s really funny!
We´re getting into
the beginning of semana santa here which is basically like a catholic pride
week. There are a lot of parades but
they aren´t really parades. A lot of people dress up like the KKK men and start
walking around. So it´s kind of weird. We did a lot of teaching this past week
me and my comp found a lot of new people that wanted to hear from us. It´s hard
to understand some of the Spanish here because the people only pronounce half
of their word here and they talk super fast!! But it´s going well here. Me and
my comp finally got a water problem fixed in our piso but we had to spend lots
of money so now we´re poor jajaja.
Today we had a cool p-day.
We went with our branch mission leader to a castle and went exploring there and
then we went to a buffet. So it looks like I got in my Priesthood chuck-a-rama
after all for this general conference. We just did it a little earlier and the
food wasn´t nearly a good. But we´re working with what we have. I´ m going to
run now but i love you all very much.
Love you
-Elder Holman
